Current research interests
Biomechanics, motility, mechano-sensory and smooth muscle function in normal gastrointestinal (GI) tract and GI tract with functional disorders, such as IBS and functional dyspepsia and with systemic organic diseases, such as diabetes. Tissue remodeling in experimental and genetic disease animal models, such as diabetes, partial intestinal obstruction, inflammation, ischemia and other diseases. The zero-stress state and mechanics of soft tissues. Triaxial tissue testing.
